I have been using Don's first with a Boston Whaler and for the last 6 years with my 17.5 foot AquaSport.
This is a terrific vendor. They winterize the boat and in the spring ready it for use and detail it. When I pick it up it looks brand new. It runs like a clock. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I used them to strip the bottom of my SturDee cat and remove the gel coat blemishes. Once I noticed a non-working light on my trailer as I was leaving their yard. Worker diagnosed circuit and replaced lights while I was standing there with no charge for labor. Another time I had a gas leak in the Johnson 90. They diagnosed it and fixed it at no charge. Without reservation I trust and recommend this shop.The only downside is Don, the owner/manager, wears the same ugly shorts from March to November.John Fitzgerald -

Absolutely blown out of the water by them outandingly excellent customer service at Don's Marine in Tiverton, RI. These guys have gone out of their way multiple times to assist us with emergency problems with our Mercruiser engine. They have had every part we've needed in stock, which is amazing because our engine is a 1987. Bobby was such a great help, way more helpful and reliable than chain marine stores.

I have been going to Don's for over 5 years now . Bobby who greets you as soon as you step foot in the showroom has to be the best person to deal with!! When I go in there with a problem he's ALWAYS has the answer and gets me floating asap!! Don's is an A++++. I took my boat into Don's a month ago with a frozen engine (1996 Yamaha 200). After consulting several other shops, I had been told that I would need a new powerhead installed, a $6,500 job. However, Don's expertly and efficiently diagnosed the problem as a frozen drive shaft bearing. Even better, advising me to make a judgment call in light of the 22-year age of the engine, they found a way to make the fix at a fraction of the cost that an average, by-the-book dealer would have charged. They also did some tuning, and the engine is now running by far the best in the 10 years I've owned it. It just doesn't get any better than Don's.
